About Generations Unlimited
Generations Unlimited was established in 1974 as the local Council on Aging and to serve as the focal point for aging services in Barnwell County. As the program evolved, Generations Unlimited added Local Motion and became the public transportation provider for Barnwell County. In 2019, Generations Unlimited added Homemaker Services as another support service for seniors.
The Agency is a sub-agency of County Government and is operated by a nine-member Board of Directors. The Executive Director, Ethel T. Faust, leads a talented team of dedicated, empathetic, and creative staff. Drivers, Dispatchers, and Nutrition Site Managers are the backbone of our agency and, as the front-line staff, are responsible for providing quality services on a daily basis.
The Agency relies on volunteers and donations to help support the important programs and services we provide. Community support helps to ensure that seniors receive needed home-delivered meals so they can remain healthy and independent in their own homes for as long as possible.
