What You’ll Do:

  • Record daily financial transactions and keep accurate records
  • Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements
  • Prepare regular financial reports for leadership and the board
  • Track accounts payable and receivable
  • Assist with budget tracking and grant documentation
  • Help process payroll and maintain related records
  • Support audits and maintain organized files for compliance

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or finance (nonprofit experience a plus)

Job Title: Vehicle & Building Maintenance Coordinator
Location: Generations Unlimited, Barnwell, SC
Reports to: Executive Director

Position Summary:
The Vehicle & Building Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, inspection, and repair of all vehicles used by Generations Unlimited. This role ensures that the fleet is safe, road-ready, and in compliance with regulatory standards. In addition, this position includes light building maintenance tasks to help keep the facility in good working order.

Key Responsibilities:

Fleet Maintenance:

  • Schedule and perform routine maintenance on vehicles (oil changes, brake checks, tire rotations, etc.)
  • Maintain detailed maintenance records for each vehicle
  • Conduct regular vehicle inspections and identify necessary repairs
  • Coordinate with vendors and repair shops when outside service is needed
  • Monitor and maintain inventory of fleet-related supplies (fluids, filters, parts, etc.)
  • Ensure all vehicles meet DOT and safety requirements
  • Respond quickly to vehicle issues or emergencies
  • Keep vehicle interiors and exteriors clean and organized

Building Maintenance (Light Duty):

  • Replace light bulbs and air filters as needed
  • Perform minor plumbing or electrical fixes (e.g. unclogging drains, resetting breakers)
  • Maintain basic landscaping (sweeping entrances, picking up litter)
  • Check and report larger facility issues to the Executive Director or proper service provider
  • Monitor HVAC systems and basic building conditions

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Proven experience in vehicle maintenance or a related field
  • Basic knowledge of building maintenance tasks
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work both indoors and outdoors
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Comfortable using basic tools and diagnostic equipment
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently

Preferred:

  • Experience working with vans or transport vehicles
  • Familiarity with DOT regulations and inspection requirements
  • Basic computer skills for logging maintenance records

Salary: Base of $10.00

Full Time

In collaboration with the Transportation Manager, the Driver is the backbone of our transportation services.  Key responsibilities include:

  • Provides safe and efficient transportation services for a demand response rural bus service
  • Must use a computer tablet to record pick up and drop off times
  • Provides customer driven, courteous service
  • Completes pre and post vehicle inspections to ensure vehicle safety and preventative maintenance
  • Completes timely and accurate reporting
  • Ensures accurate accounting of funds

Successful candidates will:

  • Be at least 25 years old
  • Possess a valid SC Driver’s License
  • Have at least 1 year of experience
  • NOT have any moving violations, at-fault accidents, felony convictions or misdemeanors (within the past 10 years)

Job Purpose: Responsible for overseeing and managing the daily operations of the Generations Unlimited transit system, including scheduling and dispatching transit services, supervising drivers, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. The Transit Coordinator will also handle all administrative aspects of the transit program, including preparing payroll time sheets, and will serve as a key point of contact for passengers and staff to ensure the safe, efficient, and effective delivery of transportation services.
 
Job Description:
The Transit Coordinator will be responsible for all aspects of the transit program’s operations, including scheduling drivers, planning routes, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and agency policies. This role includes supervision of all transit drivers, ensuring they adhere to scheduled routes and safety protocols. The Transit Coordinator will also manage client interactions, address concerns, and resolve scheduling issues. This role requires effective communication and organization to maintain accurate records, process payroll, and provide timely reporting to the Agency Director.
